  • What is the time limit for my booking?
    o We have a time limit of 2 hours per reservation. This may vary for large reservations and walk-ins. o Booking two time slots in a row for a longer time limit is not allowed.
  • I am late. What should I do?
    o Please call us on 01 679 4057 to let us know about late arrivals. We have a 10 minute grace period, but in case you are running more than 10 minutes late, we may deduct it from your time limit per booking.
  • I am having problems booking online. What should I do?
    o If there is no availability in the system, it either means we are booked out or that we don’t accept bookings for that time. o If you haven’t received a confirmation email or phone message after you made an online booking, your reservation hasn’t gone through. In this case, please try to book again. o If the online booking system doesn’t accept your card details, please call us on 01 679 4057 or email us on reservations@thunderroadcafe.com and we can assist you. o If you are looking to book for more than 12 people, the online system won’t allow you to make a reservation. Please email us on reservations@thunderroadcafe.com
  • I want to make a reservations for big groups. Dakota, can you let me know what to do?
    o If you are looking to book for more than 12 people, the online system won’t allow you to make a reservation. Please email us on reservations@thunderroadcafe.com o Please note that a 10% service charge will be added to your bill for groups of 8 or more people. o We can’t guarantee to seat more than 12 people at one table, however we can seat you near to each other. o If you would like to inquire about our set menu, please email us on reservations@thunderroadcafe.com
  • When payment of Service Charge is required?
    o Only for groups of 8 or more people, it will be a 10% service charge added to your bill
  • Are Children allowed?
    o Children can be on the premises if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. o Please count children into the number of guests. o We have a baby changing table and highchairs in the restaurant.
  • What is the legal age?
    o Patrons under 18 will not be served alcoholic beverages. o Guests must provide a hard copy of ID. We can’t accept photographs.
  • What is the Dress code?
    o Tracksuits and sportswear are prohibited on the premises. Our staff reserves the right to refuse admission.
  • I forgot some belongings in the restaurant. What should I do?
    o If you would like to inquire about a lost item, please email us on reservations@thunderroadcafe.com or call us on 01 679 4057
  • I want to celebrate my birthday and maybe some Special events along the year. What are the rules?
    o Please let our staff members know if a member of your group is celebrating their birthdays. However, you can also specify that when making your online reservation. o You can bring birthday cakes and balloons with yourself, however please only bring them upon arrival because we can’t store them beforehand.
  • Thunderrous Feast FAQ:
    - Can I use more than one voucher? Yes ✅ you can use one voucher for every two guests, so for example three vouchers can be used for six guests. ​ - Can it be used during Sunday Sessions? yes ✅ ​ - Can I use my voucher for just drink? No ⛔ unfortunately not, we do require you to purchase one main course per guest. ​ - Can these vouchers be used on Bank Holidays? Yes ✅
  • Bring your friend for free FAQ
    Q: How do I make a booking? A: To make a booking, simply book via our website link - https://www.thunderroadcafe.com/ Q: Can I bring more than one friend for free? A: Yes, the offer is available for more people, so if four guests come the two cheapest meals will be free. So bring the whole gang! Q: Can I use this offer for dinner or on other days of the week? A: The "Bring a Friend for FREE" offer is specifically valid only during lunchtime on Fridays (12pm to 5pm) in June 2023. It cannot be applied to dinner or on any other day of the week. Q: Can I combine this offer with other discounts or promotions? A: This offer cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions. It is a standalone offer designed to provide a complimentary main course for your friend when you join us for lunch on Fridays in June. Q: Are there any restrictions on the choice of main course? A: No, you and your friend are free to choose any main course from our menu. The offer applies to the lowest priced main course on the bill, regardless of the selection. Q: Is there a limited number of tables available for this offer? A: While we strive to accommodate all guests, availability for the "Bring a Friend for FREE" Fridays offer may be limited. We recommend making a reservation in advance to secure your table. Q: Can I use this offer for takeaway or delivery orders? A: Unfortunately, this offer is only applicable for dining in at our restaurant during lunchtime on Fridays in June. It cannot be applied to takeaway or delivery orders.
